Do you have a minimum order requirement?
Our minimum order is £25. As all our products are frozen, we need to make sure that it is sustainable for your order to be insulated correctly.
How do you keep the items frozen?
The insulation is made from recycled denim liners along with dry ice. We have done many trials with the insulation shipping boxes available on the market, but this particular insulation retained the coldest temperature for the longest time.
Our priority is getting the food to you safely! The dry ice will probably have evaporated when you receive your parcel, but please do take care as it will be cold! The empty bags can be removed, and the food should be placed straight into the freezer. If you aren’t home when the delivery is made don’t panic, the courier will leave the parcel in your designated safe place and the packaging and dry ice will keep the products frozen for up to 36 hours as long as the box isn’t opened.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Our delivery boxes are fully kerbside recyclable, the cardboard is sustainably sourced and printed in the UK with water based inks.
Our denim liners are made by upcycling the waste from the denim industry. We love them as they utilise materials that would otherwise have ended up in the bin. They are fully reusable and vegan friendly.
We are looking into options for recyclable and compostable insulation.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is £6.99 and free for all orders over £40. This includes insulation, dry ice and express delivery. As shipping frozen food is a costly exercise, and we have no choice but to send next day dispatch and delivery, we can’t offer any slower or cheaper postage rates.
Delivery Information
Orders placed before midday on Monday to Thursday will be packed and dispatched for delivery the following day. Orders placed after midday on Thursday, will be dispatched the following Monday (for next day delivery). We do not deliver during the weekend.
PACKAGING
Our products are frozen and we want to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. To maintain their temperature, orders are packed using thermal denim liners.
We also use dry ice contained within a sealed barrier bag. Please be careful when handling the dry ice bag (-80 degrees C). We advise wearing gloves. We also recommend leaving any remaining dry ice to evaporate in a well vented space before disposal. Please handle with care and do not touch the dry ice directly as this can cause skin burns.
DELIVERY
For all UK mainland addresses we use DHL OR DX on a next day service. All orders are tracked and we will supply tracking details on email. We do not deliver to Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands at present. Unfortunately we are also unable to deliver on weekends & bank holidays. Whilst we aim to maintain a next day dispatch / delivery at times we may experience higher volume of orders or stock inventory which may delay this. Any Items which are not in stock will be refunded and your order will be dispatched as soon as possible. If you need to cancel or amend your order, you must get in touch as soon as your order has been placed.
Our minimum order value is £25. A Delivery Charge will apply of £6.99 for deliveries in the UK (excluding N Ireland, Highlands and Islands). FREE DELIVERY applies at all orders over £40. We are not able to change the delivery address or the order after has been collected for delivery. We are not liable for any order where the delivery has been rescheduled by yourselves as this will impact the dry ice of the goods.
